Hurricane season is behind us along the Coast, but each year IT managers still have to test their disaster recovery plans. That plan includes not only your hardware but your software too.
Even though ROCâ€™s products are licensed for a specific machine, we make it easy for you to get a disaster recovery code. This code allows you to install our products on your test servers and run for a limited number of days. If you are current on support, you already have access to the technical support staff by phone or email, but you also have access to the SupportPlus site. Along with access to product downloads, updated documentation and technical notes, ROCâ€™s SupportPlus site also allows you to get a disaster recovery code any hour of the day or night.
If itâ€™s 2 oâ€™clock in the morning and you need a disaster recovery code you just log into SupportPlus and select the option for Disaster Recovery. After you enter your system information you are given a code along with the instructions to apply the code on the test server. Itâ€™s that simple!
Itâ€™s important to stay current on support so that you are running a version of our software that is compatible with the Disaster Recovery codes available on SupportPlus.
